Papis Canvas Puzzles ("the App") is an iPhone app that lets you play jigsaw puzzles and order printed products (canvas prints, biodegradable phone cases, and physical jigsaw puzzle boxes) using either curated catalogue images or your own photos. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it. We try to keep it short and concrete.

Information We Collect

Photos you upload. When you choose to print a canvas, phone case, or jigsaw puzzle from one of your own photos, the photo is uploaded to our cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) so we can pass it to the print fulfilment partner. Each upload is tagged with an anonymous per-install identifier so only your device can later list or delete it. Photos that have not been used in an order are automatically deleted after 7 days of inactivity.

Order information at checkout. When you place an order we collect:

These details are required to print, ship, and email you about your order. They are never used for marketing.

Payment information. Card and payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe inside the App's payment sheet. Your card number is never stored on our servers. We only receive a payment confirmation token from Stripe. Stripe's privacy notice applies to that data: stripe.com/privacy.

Anonymous device identifier. The first time you launch the App, a random UUID is generated and stored in your device's local app preferences. This identifier is used to:

It is not linked to your Apple ID, iCloud account, or contact details unless you place an order (in which case the order record connects the identifier to your purchase). Reinstalling the App produces a new identifier.

Arena leaderboard data. If you choose to compete in the Arena feature, we store the username and country code you enter, together with the times you achieve on each puzzle challenge. Usernames and times are visible to other players on the leaderboard.

Order history. A record of orders you have placed through the App is kept on our servers and shown back to you in the My Orders screen.

Information We Do Not Collect

Tracking

We do not track you across other apps or websites and we do not show you advertising. Because of this, the App does not display Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Service Providers We Share Data With

We share the minimum information needed to fulfil your order with the following service providers. They act as data processors on our behalf and are not permitted to use your data for their own marketing.

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

How Long We Keep Your Data

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights and Controls

Where Your Data is Processed

Papis Canvas Puzzles is operated from the United Kingdom. Our service providers (Stripe, Prodigi, ShipEngine, Resend, Cloudflare) operate globally and may process your data in the United States, the European Union, or other regions in line with their respective privacy notices.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to the App or our service providers. Any updates will be published on this page with a new effective date.
