This page covers the basics of using Papis Canvas Puzzles: playing puzzles, using your own photos, and ordering printed products. If something isn't covered here, contact us at the bottom of the page.
The App at a Glance
Papis Canvas Puzzles has five tabs at the bottom of the screen:
- Home: browse the catalogue and start a new puzzle.
- In Progress: pick up a saved puzzle where you left off.
- My Pictures: upload and manage your own photos for use in puzzles or printed products.
- Shop: order printed canvases, biodegradable phone cases, and physical jigsaw puzzle boxes.
- Admin: settings, themes, and support contact.
Playing a Puzzle
- Open the Home tab and choose an image you like.
- Pick the number of pieces you want.
- Drag pieces from the tray onto the board. Pieces snap together when they're close to a correct neighbour.
- Your progress saves automatically. Close the app at any time and come back to it from the In Progress tab.
Using My Pictures
The My Pictures tab lets you build puzzles from your own photos and use them as artwork on printed products in the Shop.
- Tap Select Images to choose photos from your iPhone's photo library.
- Each photo you select is uploaded to our secure cloud storage so it can be used for puzzle play and, if you order a printed product, sent to our print partner.
- Photos are tied to your device. Only your device can see, list, or delete them.
- To remove a photo, long-press its thumbnail and choose Delete.
- Photos that haven't been used in 7 days are automatically deleted.

The Shop
The Shop turns your photos (or any catalogue image) into physical products that we ship to your door.
- Canvas prints: printed and stretched on a wooden frame, ready to hang.
- Biodegradable phone cases: printed with your chosen image.
- Jigsaw puzzle boxes: physical jigsaw puzzles printed and packed for you.
From any image (a catalogue image or one of your own from My Pictures), tap the cart or order button, choose a size and option, then add it to your basket. The basket icon at the bottom of the Shop tab shows how many items you have ready to order.
Placing an Order
- Open the basket from the Shop tab.
- Tap Checkout and enter your name, email, phone, and shipping address. Your address is remembered for future orders on the same device.
- Choose a shipping option for puzzle boxes if you have any in your basket.
- Tap Review & Pay. The total updates with shipping and any taxes.
- Pay using Apple Pay, a saved card, or a new card via Stripe's secure payment sheet.
- Once payment succeeds, you'll see an order confirmation screen and receive an email with your order reference.
My Orders & Cancellation
Your orders are listed in the My Orders screen, accessible from the Shop tab. Each order shows its status and reference number.
- For 12 hours after placing an order, the order is on a pause window. During this time you can request cancellation by messaging WhatsApp +44 7377 863234 (include your name and order reference) or by emailing papi@papiscanvas.com.
- After the 12-hour window the order is in production and can no longer be cancelled.
- You will receive email updates when your order moves to "in production" and again when it ships with tracking.
Saved Puzzles (In Progress)
Any puzzle you start is saved automatically. Open the In Progress tab to resume. Long-press a saved puzzle to delete it.
App Themes
Open the Admin tab and tap the Theme button to switch between visual themes.
Privacy
We collect only what's needed to play puzzles, fulfil your orders, and email you about them. We don't run analytics, advertising, or tracking. Full details are on the Privacy Policy page.

Where are my saved puzzles?
Open the In Progress tab to continue any puzzle you've started. -
How do I change the app theme?
Open the Admin tab and tap the Theme button. -
How do I delete a photo I uploaded?
In My Pictures, long-press the photo's thumbnail and choose Delete. -
Why was my photo removed automatically?
Photos that haven't been used in 7 days are deleted to keep storage tidy. Re-upload it whenever you need it again. -
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, within 12 hours of placing it. Contact us via WhatsApp +44 7377 863234 or papi@papiscanvas.com with your order reference. After 12 hours the order is in production and can no longer be cancelled. -
I paid but didn't receive a confirmation email. What should I do?
Check your spam folder first. If you still can't find it, email us with the approximate time of the order and the email you used at checkout, and we'll look it up by your payment reference.
